A word to the wise on the name of my journal. Ke Li is my Chinese name and it sounds cooler than Emily for a blog and its easier to think of a blog name that way. So I'm in effect Ke Li.
Brother Spraggins suggested that I make a blog to documnet my transition to college, it sounded good to get the funny moments. So now I have to catch up and explain a few things.
A timeline is in order before I can start with some of my stories. When I first moved in I moved into the room 423 Threkeld Hall, I had two roomates Raquela nd Kenzie. Both of them were awesome and amazing and totally black. Kenzie was from Frankfort. She is practical and efficient she also genuinely cares for others and shes always got your back when your in a spot. Raquel was from Lexington she is amazingly boisterous and always has everyone laughing, she loves bright colors. :) Candyce lived down the hall and is awesome to the extreme. She is amazzingly sweet and i'm designing all of them tats. :)
After living there for almost two weeks I was given a permanent room at Miller in room 246. My roomie was Lorin Carlisle aka Tex/Texas. Guess where she was from? Anyways Lorin loves febreeze to the max. Just today I moved into a new room on the same floor. Room 233 with Lydia, who plays the harp and does art too. We get along very well and we have really close values. hse soesn't drink, smoke, or party. Plus shes an early riser and serious about school. I have a feeling we'll be good friends. She also loves antiques and collects them.
Anyway my story from today is about our move. Our RA Kerry was gone for the weekend to her bfs. Me, Kara and Nicole had this weekend to switch rooms. And we couldnt do the paperwork or switch keys until he came back. We moved everything though and got everything ready. When Kerry came back she was super PO'd about the fact that we had moved. Cause apparentely it was the wrong order. She was like, 'You're lucky I didnt make you guys pull your stuff out. They are supposed to be empty when I do the paperwork.' I wanted to tell her that I had given Kara everything I own and Kara gave Nicole everything she owned and Nicole gave me everything she owned. For now....she would kill me. She was already pissed but thats what happens when you mess with a smarty who has a dad that acts the same way. Its the lawyerness(new word), it happens by osmosis.
Anyways so then we had to run to lorin's room cause Kerry was doing room checks and stash the Wizard(her illegal router). Hectic running down the hall.
Anyways after discussing it with Lydia I think when I bring my fridge we are going to try to be as healthy as possible and keep fresh stuff here as well as milk and soy milk. She also might start working out with me. i hope she will I need it . The food here is gross. Its all fried and fast food. It makes you feel gross you know? Eatig to much doesn't make me fel my best. Plus with fencing I should be set for excercising. I DO NOT want to gain weight I want to lose it.....I will try my best. e
Lydia was on the phone today and she was talking about her toenail. Lydias toenail is special. It's always painted because shes stubbed it so many times this summer that its falling off. So shes lamenting it. 'But it's my favorite toenail.' No joke it's her favorite toenail. I'll post a picture of it sometime. Lyd' is pretty into the whole toe thing. She hates cutting her toenails cause she says the smell is horrible. Pretty wild huh? :)
My current obsession is the Taiwanese/Chinese drama "Bull Fighting" Dou Niu- Yao Bu Yao? And the opening song by Tank- Xing Guang Bang. The main words are the title of the drama its amazingness. I will post a whole article on it eventually.
